As many of you know by now, Dan graduated a couple of weeks ago. And because it’s been a long road, these 23 years of education, to celebrate, we’re vacating for awhile. We’ll be travelling in Europe for the next month.
Internet connections will be a bit spotty, so I won’t be posting regularly. I’m hoping to put some pictures up every so often, though. And I’ll be reading, of course, but I won’t be doing my regular, exhaustive book reports. (In fact, I’m experimenting with reading books digitally, since we’ll be backpacking, and books are too heavy to carry around, even though I’d willingly take less clothes for the sake of more books.)
First, we’re visiting my friends Chari and Chris in Zurich, Switzerland. Then, we’re off to Italy to tour the country for a few weeks.
We’re excited to eat exotic food, drink amazing wine, view famous art work, and see some of the sights mentioned in the Bible.
We’d appreciate your prayers for traveling mercies as we go on such a long voyage!
