Free Book Giveaway: Grown-Up Girlfriends

The folks at Tyndale House have been kind enough to send me a copy of Grown-Up Girlfriends to give away to my readers.

I listed this book as one of my top 10 Christmas gifts for women.

Here’s the publisher’s description of the book: “Even when life is hectic and harried, every woman has a God-given longing for relationship, and her female friends play an important role in filling that. Oliver and Smalley help women distinguish between self-centered, insecure, childish relationships and other-centered, healthy, “grown-up” relationships. Using personal anecdotes and scriptural principles, they explain ten characteristics of a grown-up friend and offer ideas on how readers can develop these attributes in themselves. Finally, they tackle the tough issues of friendships, such as how to support a friend in crisis, how to work toward forgiveness when a friend has injured you, and how to determine when it is best to let a friendship go.”

If you’d like to win this brand new copy of the book, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post.  I’ll accept entries until the end of this year, so at the stroke of midnight on January 1st, you’re out of luck.

You may only enter once, but I’ll let you enter twice if you mention this contest on your blog and link back to it in your comment.  Please post these comments separately (I’m not going to count one post two times).

I’m going to be selecting the winner using a random number generator (thanks Jen for the advice!), unless I don’t get many entries. In which case, I’ll resort to the old “scraps of paper in a hat” method.

By the way, I’ll only mail the book within the US, so please don’t enter if you expect me to send it elsewhere.

Unofficial brownie points go to the people who leave nice comments elsewhere on my blog.
