Memorizing Scripture

My New Year’s resolution for 2008 was to memorize the entire book of James.  Yes, crazy, I know.  But, I felt convicted that I needed to memorize more scripture as a spiritual discipline, and this particular book was really calling to me.

Since I’m not very adept at this scripture memory thing, I’ve shared my trials and tribulations in the process with you.  If you want to see my posts on the topic, what I’ve learned, what works, what doesn’t worked, check out this link:

  1. Great!
Our ministry is memorizing the Word of God and speaking it from heart in the Church….. all over the world.
I am currently studying and ministering in Jerusalem.

AL: I see that you’re affiliated with Jason Nightengale’s ministry! I’ve met him and have been blessed many times to hear him speak. He does amazing recitations of entire books of the Bible. I love his big, booming voice. And I’m sure that his ministry must have had some influence on my commitment to memorizing James.

AL: Good for you! Best of luck!
